Due to increased botnet activity on our network (a sign of the times, it seems), we've introduced the Defender service to help weed out any potential nets. This will not affect you in any way. The only change you may notice is a bot named Defender CTCP VERSION you upon you connecting. All this is doing is checking which IRC client you are using, and which version.

Not much has changed network-wise since last time. We shall shortly be moving to Inspircd 1.2 when the beta is over. IRC Junkie has updated it's RSS format, and so this page has been modified to suit (apologies for the errors we had before).

Welcome to the new look website. It's kinda been in a state of flux for the past couple of years, with half-designs here and there. The network homepage seems to slip down my priority list very quickly - so I thought I'd sort it out once and for all!.

So, what's new? We run a custom version of pisg at the network now, which means we can have cool IRC statistic pages that tell you who was feeling talkative, who was kicked and much more. We have two IRCops that are actively checking for botherders and bad clients (so, we're nice and secure!) Also, this network has no servers that are run from cheap shell environments — it's running on a private dedicated server (so, we're stable!) We even support SSL connections… what more could you want from an IRC Network?
